Boho-Chic Beauty

Boho beauty comes in two guises: There’s this season’s hottest catwalk trend – the 70’s, and then there’s the festival-chic aesthetic of Kate Moss and Sienna Miller. From wherever you draw your inspiration, you’ll want tousled waves, peachy cheeks and barely-there eye makeup; here’s how to get the look.

1
BASE

Prep skin with a light-coverage foundation, dabbing concealer on any problem areas. Seal your base with a dusting of powder across your T-zone.

2

EYE SHADOW

Natural eyes and boho-chic go hand in hand, so select a matte eye shadow in a neutral colour – we chose peach. Apply to the whole eyelid.

3

DARKER SHADES

Then, using a small brush, apply a soft brown eye shadow to the globe of your eye. Rim your lower lash line with the same colour. Blend well.

4

EYELINER

Using a brown eyeliner pencil, draw a thin line close to your upper lash line. Take a small brush and gently smudge the colour, blending with your eye shadow.

5

MASCARA

Curl your eyelashes, before applying brown mascara to your upper and lower lashes. By choosing a brown mascara (and eyeliner) you avoid looking too “made-up”.

6

FINISHING TOUCHES

Finally, brush a peach coloured blusher across the apple of your cheeks. Then finish with a nude lipstick.

Simply add loose hair and billowing fabrics and you’re ready to head out – festival grounds optional!
