Halo Eyes

The “halo” is not only easy to do; it’s universally flattering too. Here’s how to achieve the look in five easy steps. We’re using blue eye shadow – what colour will you pick?

1
EYE PENCIL

To start, take a black eyeliner pencil and draw a thick line on your top lid – keep as close as you can to your eyelashes. Now do the same on your bottom lid.

2
CREATE A SHAPE

Smudge the upper eyeliner line up towards your eye socket. Do the same on your bottom lid, blending and softening. Join the lines at the outer corner of your eyes creating a roundish shape.

3
EYE SHADOW

Apply an eye shadow – we’ve chosen blue – on top of your softened eyeliner. Notice how the colour is intensified? Doing this, will lock in your eyeliner so that it doesn’t crease.

LASHES

To achieve that “Wow!” affect, gently curl your upper eyelashes and apply several coats of mascara.

And there you have it, high-impact eye makeup that works for both day and night.
