Step-By-Step the Baking Technique

The baking technique has nothing to do with cooking; it’s a makeup technique that vanishes fine lines and imperfections, creating the illusion of pore-free, matte skin. Follow our five-step baking guide and you’ll have a faultless under-eye area in minutes!

CONCEALER

Start by applying a thick layer of concealer in a triangle shape under your eyes.

DAMP SPONGE

Then, dab a damp sponge over the concealer to blend it and leave it to dry for a minute.

DRY WITH POWDER

Using a small soft brush, dust a translucent powder over the area to remove any leftover moisture. Let your skin absorb the makeup for a few minutes.

THICK LAYER OF POWDER

Take your damp sponge and apply a thick coat of the same translucent powder to the area. Once again you’ll need to allow a few minutes for it to absorb.

BRUSH IT OFF

Finally, use the same small brush to work the remaining powder into your under-eye area and upper cheek, brushing off any excess product. The outcome? A smooth, porcelain finish!
