Five Catwalk Hair Trends to Try Now

From wet-look hair to ultra feminine waves, we take a look at this season’s best catwalk hair trends, and how you can get the look at home.

Woodstock Waves
This spring it’s all about the Seventies. Think loose, feminine waves and an easy-to-wear centre parting. To recreate the look at home, try wrapping small sections of hair around a curling iron, adding hairspray for extra hold.

Wet-Look Locks
Wet-look hair just got wearable. This season, mirror the catwalk trend by slicking back your roots with a small amount of hair gel. Comb your hair up and back away from your face and secure with hairspray.

Flowers in your Hair
Spring’s hottest accessory trend takes place in your hair. Flowers – big and small – were a recurring theme at fashion weeks around the world. Pair a floral crown with romantic waves, or pin small bouquets to a low bun or ponytail.

The Low Ponytail
This season the ponytail sits at the nape of your neck. Tie hair back into a low ponytail and then gently tease the roots with your fingertips to add relaxed appeal.

Centre Parting
The centre parting is perhaps the easiest way to update your look for the season. Begin with freshly washed and combed hair, taking a tail-comb to draw a straight line from the front hairline to the back. To avoid frizz apply a smoothing treatment. Clean, crisp, modern.
